We can never thank the people that serve in our military enough for the sacrifices that they, and their families, make for our country and our safety. This week ‘s blog is dedicated to a really special wedding, where a solder got married to the love of his life this weekend! It was truly an honor to be a part of it!
The wedding day started at John’s Creek Baptist Church. The groom grew up here, and has attended this church since he was a kid, which made the ceremony that much more special. He was there when it was just one building and saw it evolve into the large campus it is today, where they have many ministries that serve the community.
The wedding started in the morning, which feels better than the late afternoon in Georgia because the weather is cooler. The Groom and his college roommate arrived first and the family started trickling in after that. Finally, the Chaplain came in to officiate the wedding and sign the marriage license. Chaplain Dan did a great job organizing the family and guests and helped the ceremony run smoothly.
After the ceremony we did a few photos at the church. Then, we went to the Georgia mountains for some more photos, since the couple had some family around the Big Canoe area of the mountains. We went to a couple of awesome spots for photos, including trails, a waterfall, and even beach. There were so many beautiful locations to choose from!
Congrats to the new couple! We want to let you know how much of an honor it was to be a small part of such a special day. Thank you for your service and everything you do. Stay safe and know that you have plenty of love and support around you!
