This week’s wedding is one I am going to remember for a while! The bride was one of 6 sisters, all of whom were there supporting the bride through it all! These ladies were so much fun and it warmed my heart to see that much love in a family.
The wedding day started at the hotel where the wedding party got ready. The super talented Sarah started taking the getting ready shots with the girls and I did the same with the guys. The groom and his groomsmen were a lot of fun and were a blast to work with! After I did the guys photos I waited downstairs to capture the first look moment between the dad and bride. We had a little time, so the dad and I talked to pass the time. He was a neat guy and it was great to learn about him and the bride’s family! Once the bride was ready we went upstairs to do the first look. I went in first and I was not ready for the dress. Sarah and I both agreed that it was one the best wedding dresses we have ever seen. She was absolutely stunning!
We left the hotel after the first look between the bride and her father and went to the St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church. It is a majestic catholic church with ornate details throughout the sanctuary. It provided a beautiful and classic backdrop to an equally beautiful wedding. What made the ceremony even more beautiful and memorable was the fact that the bride’s uncle from New Jersey conducted the ceremony. It was a real family affair! The bride’s dad walked her down the aisle and she was beaming with joy, it was awesome to see her looking so happy! Not to mention she looked gorgeous too. The train on her dress made her look like a princess as it flowed along with the dress and veil.
After the wedding ceremony, everyone headed to the reception at one of my favorite venues, Naylor Hall. Naylor is a historic wedding venue located in Roswell, Georgia. As an Atlanta wedding photographer I love this venue. Naylor makes for a beautiful backdrop to a wedding. I also can not say enough nice things about the staff! They are gracious and real pros who are fantastic to work with! The couple and I took a few fun shots out front and then went into Naylor for the dances and toasts. Everyone had a blast!
The newlyweds exited the wedding and got into a limo out front. The guest celebrated the couple by throwing rose petals as they walked out, which looked absolutely beautiful. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day!
