This weeks wedding is about a couple who, like a lot of couples, had to put off their wedding plans due to Covid-19. Hayden and Kaitlyn got engaged almost 2 years ago and, after rescheduling twice, they finally got to have the wedding they always wanted with their friends and family.
Now let’s go back a few years. They dated and fell in love and, after a while, they took a romantic European vacation. While looking into the sea from the high cliffs of Ireland, Hayden got down on one knee and proposed to Kaitlyn.
They came back home and shared their good news with family and friends, then started to plan their wedding. They hired vendors, chose a venue, and everything. Well no one plans on a pandemic and that is what came next. They had to postpone the wedding twice until it was safe to gather, but the clouds of Covid finally broke and people felt safe to gather again.
The big day finally came and the wedding took place at the historic wedding venue Naylor Hall. Naylor is a famous historic mansion located in downtown Roswell. The ladies got there first and got ready, then the guys arrived. When everyone was dressed and ready it was time to do the first look! You could tell they were thinking “finally!”.
They had a beautiful, intimate ceremony on the front lawn and Naylor made a grand backdrop for such a special day. Once the ceremony was over they did their first dance on the front porch. After the first dance, it was an easy transition to the cocktail hour on the front lawn. It was a beautiful evening for enjoying a beverage outside.
After drinks, everyone went into the main house to enjoy a wonderful meal, and guests got to learn more about the couple through heartfelt toasts from friends and families. While everyone was dancing, I took the couple outside at the blue hour for a 3-minute photo shoot.
All good things must come to an end, and the couple eventually got ready to make their exit. The guests gathered on the front porch to cheer and see the couple off into their next chapter. It was a perfect ending to a perfect day!
