This week’s couple is Matt and Madison. They meet in high school and fell in love. As a Atlanta wedding photographer people often ask me to describe the people I shoot. I spent quite a bit of time with these two and I think the best description would be “real”. They are what you see is what you get, truly kind and thoughtful to everyone around them.
We did the engagement session at a friend of their’s house. I want to give a big thanks to the owner of the house. They were so gracious letting us use their house. They had not even moved in and they were letting us use it! It is a beautiful house in Alpharetta with a large fenced in area surrounded by woods. The very back of the property has a barn and a few large trees. It is a great photo location with lots of options. Madison and Matt had scouted the area and sent me some photos taken around the time we started our engagement session.
It was a beautiful day with lots of warm light. We started in the back of the property where you could see the afternoon light streaking across the landscape. We had a great time using the light. The natural landscape was perfect backdrop. We did a lot of exploring all over the property. The other thing that was great shooting there was that we could do outfit changes. It was a really fun shoot! As the changed we changed locations. As the light faded in the back we briefly went into the woods. When that light went away we did color bombs on the side yard. We also shot on the front porch columns. When the light started to fade there we started to shoot in the back of the house and used a flash for back lighting which you can see at the top of the blog.
I want to thank Madison and Matt for their time. They were areal joy to work with! I also want to thank the owner of the property. It was such an honor to shoot at such a wonderful place!
Thank you so much for visiting this Atlanta wedding photographers blog. I would love to hear from you! Please go to the contact section of the site and drop me line! I promise I will get right back to you.
Thanks again!
David
