The Atlanta wedding photographers at Atlanta Artistic Weddings know that social media has become a crucial tool for wedding planning. This week, I wanted to tell you a bit about our social media pages, especially Instagram, and how we use it to connect with our followers and clients.

All the photos on our Instagram feed were taken by the photographers at Atlanta Artistic Weddings, so it acts as a sort of portfolio. These photos posted on Instagram encompass all aspects of what Atlanta Artistic Weddings can do, from proposals to engagement shoots to weddings. This allows our Instagram followers to gain ideas on different poses they can use, different locations or wedding venues that perfect for these photo shoots, and different moments during the ceremony they may want captured. The Atlanta Artistic Weddings account on Pinterest is also good for this reason. On our Pinterest page, you can get ideas for decorations, wedding dresses and more from pins made from past photos our photographers took.

For those who check Instagram regularly, you’ll notice that Atlanta Artistic Weddings has a new Instagram story daily, which highlights photos from our photographers and usually incudes popular and relevant hashtags that will lead followers to other posts with that same hashtag, or with a similar topic. All of us at Atlanta Artistic Weddings love to keep in touch with the couples we work with, as well as support other artists and professional photographers, so we encourage followers to tag us in their posts.

Our followers may have also noticed a few weekly features as well. Every Wednesday, in honor of “Wedding Wednesday”, Atlanta Artistic Weddings publishes a new blog post on our website that gets advertised to our Instagram followers. We have posted about many different topics, from recent weddings our photographers have shot to information on wedding traditions to highlights of our favorite wedding venues. The hope is that this blog will provide useful information to those planning a wedding, while also letting us connect with our followers and readers.

Another weekly staple of the Atlanta Artistic Weddings Instagram page is Fun Fact Fridays. Every Friday, our followers can expect a post detailing a fun fact about traditions and superstitions around weddings and/or proposals. Many people have heard of the classic wedding traditions, like “something old, something new” or the bride and groom being unable to see each other before the ceremony, but not many know how they started or what they mean. By doing Fun Fact Fridays, our followers get to learn fun tidbits while also gaining insight into the wedding business that Atlanta Artistic Weddings is a part of. Plus, our followers have something to look forward to each week.
