This week’s wedding was at Naylor Hall. The couple had to reschedule their wedding because of the Covid pandemic that struck earlier this year. They had a small wedding with 5 people on their originally scheduled wedding day and then got married again this weekend in a larger ceremony with all their friends and family!
The bride and groom arrived early at Naylor Hall. They did a first look in the main parlor in the front room of the house and the bride and groom were so sweet together in that moment. Since we started so early, we did a lot of location shots around Naylor Hall. As an Atlanta wedding photographer, it is nice not to be rushed. That way there is more time to do creative photos. This weekend was especially neat because Naylor Hall makes for a great backdrop for photos.
I want to give a shout out to Naylor Hall! The staff were true professionals and Abbey made sure that everything went smoothly. Sunny Bailey knows how to make a wedding memorable!
The ceremony was conducted by the groom’s father, which was so neat to see. He became ordained just for this occasion and he did a great job! He gave the couple pearls of wisdom and was very entertaining. I could tell it meant a lot to them that he performed the ceremony. It was truly a family affair.
After the ceremony, we did a group photo from the front steps of Naylor. They then had a cocktail hour where they could mingle and celebrate with their friends and family who were there.
The reception was inside the mansion and dinner was served to the guests. We were able to sneak off and do a quick blue hour shot before the dancing, which was awesome. There were the traditional dances, such as the couple’s first dance, the father-daughter dance and the mother-son dance, and they were all very sweet! The bride’s dad did an awesome toast to the couple and went on to explain how the bride and groom met. Then, the party started! The guests danced their hearts out. I want to say that the groom did not stop dancing all through the night! It was truly a fun group of people celebrating a wonderful couple!
