This week’s wedding was a great one! It was between Noah and Lauren. They are couple who have known each other for a while. They were so cute together. The coolest part of the wedding was how supportive their friends and family were to this great couple. They are off to a great start!
The wedding was held at Ashton Gardens outside of Atlanta. They are a turn key operation that includes a chapel and reception area. They even have a staff kitchen for your guests. Basically all you have to do is show up and get married! It is a beautiful facility with a large A shape chapel. There is also plenty of parking. Then you have a large ball room for the reception. It can hold up to 300 people comfortably. The staff are real pros and it shows!
We started the photography at the Ashton Gardens. The girls got ready in the spacial bridal suite with plenty of mirrors and lighting for make up. Sarah the from Atlanta Artistic Weddings helps with the ladies. It is a real bonus to have a female on the team that way the bride and her bridesmaids feel comfortable in their getting ready shots. Sarah is a real pro with the getting ready shots. She can be unobtrusive and capture some amazing and creative shots.
I stayed withe the guys. They were a great and fun group! The brother was the best man and the most of the groomsmen were old football buddies. They were such a hoot! You could tell they were a great team they way they looked out for each other. The best man did a great job of keeping everyone on task and kept taking care of the details through the day. He also by the way did one of the best toast’s that I have heard in a while!
The wedding was done be a family friend who happens to be their pastor growing up. He was very entertaining to say the least. He also treated the ceremony with as a worship service. Where everyone in attendance felt as if they were in church and felt God’s hand on their shoulder. Matter a fact he made everyone shack hands and hold hands during the service which I thought brought everyone together sort of like a communion of sorts. It was a beautiful ceremony that was filled with lots of joy and togetherness!
After the ceremony the couple did their formal photography. The groom asked to have some photos outside and I found out why! Their waiting for the couple was their pet dog! One of their friends had brought him to the wedding. He was a welcome guest for sure! Everyone loved this dog! He posed with the couple and wedding party like a real pro!
At the reception the had a wonderful dinner from Ashton Gardens. After dinner the couple visited with wedding guests. After the visiting the Noah and Lauren were toasted by the man of honor and maid of honor. The grooms brother who was the best man did a wonderful heartfelt toast. The bridesmaids took a different approach and did a fun rap with music which was enjoyed for all! After that they did the wedding cake cutting. As you can see from the wedding photos from above they had a great time! After much dancing and a wonderful wedding they did their exit . The walk way was lined with guests with sparklers.
I want to thank you for stopping by and checking out my wedding photographers blog. I also want to thank the couple for the honor of being their wedding photographer! They are truly blessed with wonderful friends and family. If you have any questions please feel free to drop me a line. I would love to hear from you.
Thanks again!
