On Saturday, Jan. 19, Atlanta Artistic Weddings had the pleasure of capturing Liz and Jeff’s romantic wintertime wedding at Ashton Gardens in Sugar Hill. The pair met through their church and Liz’s grandmother. It was an ideal match from the beginning.
Ashton Gardens is one of AAW’s favorite wedding venues to photograph. The gorgeous chapel on property has ivory pews and multiple wrap-around, floor-to-ceiling windows, which provide a scenic woodland backdrop. The venue also has a large fully furnished bridal suite, a separate groom’s lounge and a grand ballroom with Austrian crystal chandeliers, more floor-to-ceiling windows and a grand staircase. Though this Atlanta wedding locale’s beauty speaks for itself, what’s unique about Ashton Gardens is the featured amenities available for couples, including experienced event and wedding coordinators. Celita Fritch, director of sales and planning, and Jazzmyne Wages, sales and event coordinator, made Liz and Jeff’s perfect wedding possible. Their hospitality and expertise allowed for a smooth and stress-free day despite chilly temperatures and persistent rain.
For their first look, Liz and Jeff chose to write and read heartfelt letters to one another before the big reveal. It was a private tender moment AAW was thrilled to capture. Some other adorable shots AAW photographed were of Liz and her father, the flower girl and ring bearer—Esther and Charlie—the classic Packard automobile groom’s cake and of course, the enchanted bubble send-off to an old Cadillac car.
AAW would like to congratulate Liz and Jeff and wish them a lifetime of happiness and love.
