On Saturday, Jan. 12, Atlanta Artistic Weddings had the honor of photographing Toni and Nick’s gorgeous winter wedding at the beautiful Conservatory at Waterstone in historic downtown Acworth, Ga. Nick, an Atlanta native and University of Georgia alumnus, met Toni, a Texas-born, tattooed beauty, while working and visiting his brother in Huntsville, Ala. The pair began dating shortly after meeting, and when Nick moved back east to his hometown, Toni did too. And rest is a sweet love story filled with laughter, tenderness and two adorable pugs.
Toni and Nick’s wedding day was an undeniably touching day. The bride, a vision in a white ball gown, sported a classic black leather jacket and a beautiful linked bracelet made with her parents’ ashes. Toni’s brother escorted her down the aisle while loved ones and dear friends witnessed with delight and affection. At the reception, which followed the ceremony, many guests, including Nick’s brother and Toni’s friends, gave great toasts the newlyweds will never forget.
What also made this couple’s big day even more extraordinary was their chosen venue. The Conservatory at Waterstone is an eclectic wedding locale where modern meets rustic French country. The historic building has high ceilings and many exposed brick walls and a brick walkway extending throughout the entire building. The interiors made for incredible photo opportunities for AAW, including some candid shots taken of the entire wedding party and wedding guests dancing the night away.
On the Conservatory’s main level, there’s a large open room with multiple seating areas as well as a room specifically created for wedding gifts and the guestbook. Owner and President of Waterstone Events, Inc. Joanne Tubo has such a passion for historic venues and obviously, weddings. Besides the Conservatory at Waterstone, she oversees operations at The Grande in Kennesaw and The Rosabelle Manor in Adairsville.
AAW would like to congratulate Toni and Nick and wish them a lifetime of happiness and love.
