It is a beautiful location that’s a perfect backdrop for photographs of the big day. Our photographers have worked with them numerous times in the past and have always had an awesome experience. With professional-level service from the staff and an amazing history that you can feel in the atmosphere, you can’t go wrong when you choose this venue. For those new to this page, I wanted to tell you a bit about why I would recommend this wedding venue.

Most venues in Atlanta have rich histories and Naylor Hall is no exception. The building has been around since the 1840’s, where it started as a four-room cottage owned by the Proudfoot family, who were essential in the founding of Roswell. It became an especially important structure in history when the Proudfoot’s agreed to store Confederate uniforms in their home for safety when General Sherman burned Atlanta during the Civil War. However, the structure was still damaged during the war and had to be rebuilt. This provided the opportunity for Naylor Hall, named after the wife of Colonel Harrison Broadwell, who owned the structure in the 1930’s, to add many of the gorgeous unique designs seen today, such as the columns, the handcrafted woodwork, and the portico encompassing the original structure.

The current owner of Naylor Hall, Sunny Bailey, has made her mark on the structure as well, seamlessly blending the rich Antebellum history of Naylor Hall with a clean, modern style. She is incredibly professional and really has a passion for weddings, which makes her, as well as her staff at Naylor Hall, so great to work with for both vendors and couples alike. She has put a lot of heart and soul into the venue but, to quote Sunny, “no amount of work I have put in at Naylor Hall rivals the sheer joy I feel sharing your dream. Having seen more tears of joy than you can imagine, I still find myself shedding a few of my own {when no one is looking of course}” and I absolutely second that sentiment.

Naylor Hall has years of experience and their staff will help couples coordinate almost every detail of their big day. They can recommend vendors for tons of services like flowers, catering, music, and an officiant. Naylor Hall will even provide brides with a vendor for wedding gowns. Since wedding planning is incredibly overwhelming, finding a venue that will help you as much as possible can be a life saver. Of course, you don’t have to get married to book Naylor Hall for an event. Aside from weddings and rehearsal dinners, their staff will help you plan elegant holiday parties, add excitement to corporate events and celebrate birthdays and bat/bar mitzvahs in style.
