Congrats to Becky and Jordan! We They were blessed with some of the best weather of year! They had a beautiful wedding surrounded by such awesome friends and family. They have been together for over 8 years and April 27th, 2019 is when they got married and celebrated their love!
Only One Life, that Soon is Past. Only What's Done with Love Will Last.
The wedding day started early with getting ready photography at their apartment and a close by by home. The guys wore a tasteful black suit with gray ties. The girls wore a classic sheath styled dress that complemented them perfectly. The bride wore a sheath type wedding dress with a tulle exterior. The dress also had a exquisite train that was the perfect length for the dress. She also wore a veil for the wedding at the church.
They had a first look at Naylor Hall. Becky did a first look with her dad and Jordan. We then proceeded to do the fun group photos at Naylor but the real fun started when we left. We meet down the street and did a group shoot in the middle of Canton Street in downtown historic Roswell. It was pretty cool when everyone saw the bride and groom. They started to cheer on the couple and everyone had a ball!
The ceremony was held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. It is a beautiful church in northern part of Atlanta. The church has a beautiful sanctuary with lots of stain glass and a custom organ. I think this was my fourth wedding there. I had worked with the minister and organist. The minister gave a heartfelt sermon. The organist played and sang during the ceremony.
Once we left the church we all went to Variant Brewery. It is a local brewery that the couple loves. So we did some quick fun photos there. Once again the crowd cheered on the newly married couple and celebrated their wedding day with them. The Variant Brewery team were so gracious and brought out beer to the wedding party. Where the whole wedding party toasted to the bride and groom!
The reception was held at Naylor Hall. The bride and groom did their first dance after they were introduced to the guests. One of my favorite parts of reception is the toasts and this wedding did not disappoint. The sister gave a sweet and funny toast to Baecky and then the dad gave a toast and gave them matching University of Michigan jerseys with their name on them. The guests danced and played with glow sticks until the end of the party where the exited out the front door to the beginning of married life together!
