Over the years, I’ve photographed more than a hundred different types of wedding ceremonies and receptions. From swanky country club soirees to quaint floral garden gatherings, I’ve photographed them all.
A little over a week ago, I had the honor of capturing a cozy, romantic Lawrenceville wedding between Colleen and John. The beautiful couple exchanged their heartfelt vows on Colleen’s grandmother’s front porch with a handful of close family members sharing in their bliss and affection. Following the nuptials, everyone gathered at Wahoo Grill in Decatur—a laidback, European-inspired eatery with delicious cuisine and an inviting ambiance. It was in that lovely private dining room the bride and groom and loved ones swapped stories from the past. There were many contagious smiles and uncontrollable laughs. As I documented these beautiful moments, I was once again reminded of why I enjoy photographing weddings; I love people and the importance of family.
