As a Atlanta wedding photographer I get to document many celebrations and wonderful moments. Recently a opportunity to document the progress of a school sponsored by Atlanta Church Group and partners with MPP and UUSC. It is a great project and wonderful cause. Please visit https://www.haitiecovillageschool.org/ to learn more.
These groups are supporting the people displaced by the devastating earth quake that destroyed so many lives there. The earth quake took over 200,000 lives and destroyed over a million homes mostly around the capital Port a Prince. There families torn apart and many homeless after the quake.
The groups helped the families relocate. They built small eco villages where the refugees from the earth quake could settle. They could grow their own food and hopefully become self-sustaining. What the eco villages needed was a school for their villages that is where the Atlanta Church Group came in. Through the support of donors they were able to build several class rooms, kitchen and dinning hall. They are making a difference in a difficult part of the world
As a Atlanta wedding photographer my roll was to document the school and the progress that has been made. We are having a fund raiser on May 7th at 6pm. You can get tickets at the Flavors of Haiti website by clicking here.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope that you can make it out and make a difference in these kids lives. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to help!
Thanks again,
David
