As a Atlanta wedding photographer I always like it when a bride and groom make their wedding their own.  I like the unique touches of a wedding that makes a wedding a day to remember.  This wedding I shot this weekend was one of those and it was totally out of the blue.

The bride and groom could not have been a more thoughtful.  When I arrived at the brides home I was greeted by here mother.  I went to where the bride and bridesmaids where getting ready.  I asked the bride if she had any detail shots such as rings.  She said she did and brought out a bag with several things in it.  There were the borrowed, blue and new items in it. She a small handkerchief with the wedding date and wedding mantra embroideredon it.   She had the rings they bought together.  The next things she brought out I could tell were very important to her.  They were wrapped in a special bag.  The first thing she showed me was a Rosary that had been passed down through the family.  The last thing she brought out was a very unassuming gold ring. It is a family heirloom.  The ring turned out to be her grandmothers ring that came from the old country when she immigrated to the United States.  During the wedding she attached the ring to her bouquet.  That way her grandmother was there with her through out her wedding day.

Thank you so much for coming by and reading my blog.  Please feel free to contact me and I will promise I will get back to you.  You can go to the comment section of the blog or drop me line in the contact section on www.AtlantaArtisticWeddings.com .

Thanks again!

David
