As an Atlanta wedding photographer, I have had the honor of shooting shooting hundreds of weddings, which has helped me hone my skills as a photographer. Emory has given me the chance to share these skills that I’ve learned by offering a wedding photography class. You can take advantage of this opportunity on April 25, 2021 at the historic wedding venue Naylor Hall!

The class will be taught by me, David Diener, and I can’t wait to share the more than two decades worth of experience and knowledge I have gained with my students. During the course, we’ll discuss working with various wedding vendors, as well as how to properly streamline your editing and file management processes. We will also cover the best lens for each occasion and how to work under tough lighting conditions.

You may ask, what makes this wedding photography class so unique? Well, for one thing, you will be shooting at the gorgeous Naylor Hall, which is a historic wedding venue in Roswell, Georgia. This venue is one the crown jewels of historic architecture in the Atlanta area. This venue has a bridal room, large front lawn and reception area, which are all actual locations you will in counter when you shoot a wedding! Also, the owner of Naylor, Sunny Bailey, will be on hand to personally offer you insight on what happens behind the scenes during a wedding. This experience and insight is very valuable when you are developing your skills as a wedding photographer. You can’t beat this kind of hands-on experience!

The other the thing that makes this opportunity so great is that you will be working with not one but three real couples! Working with real brides and grooms will give you insight and real life experience! In working closely with the bride and groom, it will be easier to prepare for the candid photos during a wedding. We will go through this during the course, as well as how to look for the best locations, light, and backgrounds for your wedding photos. In short, we will discuss how to capture that gorgeous must-have shot the couple will talk about for years to come!
