As a Atlanta wedding photographer I love this time of year. The air has a little bit of crisp to it and the anticipation of spring is in the minds of everyone. It is a time of year of fresh starts and the beginning of the wedding season! With beginning of the wedding season comes engagement sessions.

I love engagement sessions! I get to know the couple and get to know what the couple is comfortable with. I feel like at the end of every engagement session I am friends with the couple and they feel completely relaxed around me. I really enjoy the vibe of a engagement session. You are not rushed and usually you pick a location that the couple enjoys so they are comfortable in that environment. When shooting an engagement session I never look at the clock. I like to take our time and with the photos and chat to get to know the couple.

When I chat with the couple during an engagement session I get to find out the neatest things. Such as how they meet. I find out who said I love you first and when they knew they were in love! You get to know how their families and little details on their friends. I even found out one of my grooms was on the my favorite game shoe “The Price is Right” and he won the show case show down! These are things you will not get to know during the busy hectic day of a wedding.
