Morning Engagement Session at Historic Mill | Atlanta Wedding Photographers
This week we had a great Engagement Session from a cute couple from out of town. They meet when they traveled abroad. On this trip they took long walks and talked together. During these moments they feel in love and found how much they deeply cared for each other.
I meet the couple at the historic Roswell Mill and did their engagement session there. The Mill ruins are on Vickery Creek north of Atlanta and in the middle of historic Roswell. The mill ruins are part of the Roswell Manufacturing Company constructed in 1839. You can still see the mill trace and dam along with other artifacts from the mill. The waterfall made by the dam was created when the creek was dammed to provide water power as well as the power for the original machine shop.
When we went there in the morning when the lighting was perfect! We got these wonderful halo effects on the couple. We also go this beautiful mist in the background that the light would dance through making this dreamy ever changing glow.
Love some one like a river, because a river flows forever
I love getting to know the couple during the engagement session. You get to know their personality and what they are comfortable with as far as wedding photography goes. This makes wedding photography go so much smoother on the day of the wedding. The photographer and couple are no longer strangers but friends with a camera.
Thank you for visiting this Atlanta wedding photographer’s blog. I hope that you found it entertaining and informative. Please contact me if you have any questions. I would love to hear from you!
Thanks again!
