I am honored to be a Atlanta wedding photographer
This weeks post is going to be a little different. I am not going to blog on our latest wedding or engagement shoot. I am going to be a little more reflective on why I have a passion for wedding photography and people.
“First fill your heart with an abundance of love. Then let the light of your love enlighten the whole world.”― Debasish Mridha
The title of this Atlanta wedding photographer’s blog says it all. It is an honor to be a wedding photographer. I never take that for granted. I take this honor very seriously. From the first meeting when I tell the couple it is “their wedding and never lose site of that” to when I am giving them the images that capture their wedding day.
What I look for when I am shooting a wedding are genuine moments between the people at the wedding. Moments are fleeting but hopefully we can capture some of moments with wedding photography that you will cherish for a life time. May it be when the bride sees her fiance in her wedding dress for the first time. Or the proud father as he walks his daughter down the isle. These are the moments we look for and we are honored to be there, and yes I still cry at weddings.
AtlantaArtisticWeddings is just not a group of wedding photographers. It is a group of artists that have a passion for photography and people. If you look at the wedding photo at the top of the blog you will notice the light. That is on purpose. We look for the best light to capture you. A photographer friend of mine once said “David a amateur photographer talks about his equipment, A professional photographer talks about how much he got paid but a true artist talks about the light”. That is where the “Artistic” in Atlanta Artistic Weddings comes from.
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope that you enjoyed my insight on wedding photography and that you come back often. Please feel free to contact me. I would love to hear from you! Please go to the contact page and drop me a line. I promise I will get back to you promptly.
Thanks again!
David
