As at Atlanta wedding photographer I have shot at Piedmont Park many times but this weeks engagement shoot was really special. You ask what makes a engagement shoot special? It is the people of course and their furry friends! This week’s engagement shoot was with Cammey, Zach and Zeus. They were so much fun to shoot and they brought lots of personality and fun ideas!

What I love most about weddings and engagement shoots is when people let their personality come out and when you look at the photos you get to know a lot about them. For the shot they brought their friend Megan to take care of Zeus some of the time (a big thank you to Megan!!!) while they were walking around. They also brought a beautiful quilt made by Cammy’s grandmother. It was if all the aspects of their lives were represented! You had friends, family and furry buddy’s at the engagement session and of course true love!

We started walking around the park just walking and talking. When every we found a good spot and some light we would stop and take a few shoots. We went around Lake Clair Meer, visited the soccer field and Oak Hill. We even strolled around in the farmers market over on northern end of the park.

It was really nice to spend some time with such great people. They were such a joy to be around! We laughed a lot and everyone was very relaxed witch makes for great photos. We are looking forward to their wedding next year!
